On the Subject of Wires
You handle 3-wire and 5-wire modules. For 4 or 6 wires, tell the defuser to ask BRAVO.
A wire module has 3-6 wires. Only one correct wire must be cut. Wire ordering: first = top.
3 Wires
- If there are no red wires, cut the second wire.
- Otherwise, if the last wire is white, cut the last wire.
- Otherwise, if there is more than one blue wire, cut the last blue wire.
- Otherwise, cut the last wire.
5 Wires
- If the last wire is black and the last digit of the serial number is odd, cut the fourth wire.
- Otherwise, if there is exactly one red wire and more than one yellow wire, cut the first wire.
- Otherwise, if there are no black wires, cut the second wire.
- Otherwise, cut the first wire.
On the Subject of The Button
You decide whether to HOLD or PRESS. If the answer is HOLD, the defuser must ask BRAVO for release timing.
Follow these rules in order. Perform the first action that applies:
- If the button is blue and says "Abort" → HOLD the button.
- If there is more than 1 battery and the button says "Detonate" → PRESS and immediately release.
- If the button is white and there is a lit indicator with label CAR → HOLD the button.
- If there are more than 2 batteries and there is a lit indicator with label FRK → PRESS and immediately release.
- If the button is yellow → HOLD the button.
- If the button is red and says "Hold" → PRESS and immediately release.
- If none of the above apply → HOLD the button.
If the answer is HOLD: the defuser holds the button, a colored strip appears. They must ask BRAVO for the release timing based on the strip color.
On the Subject of Keypads
You have columns 1, 2, 3. If none of your columns contain all 4 symbols, tell the defuser to ask BRAVO (cols 4-6).
Only one column has all four symbols from the keypad. Press them in top-to-bottom order within that column.
On the Subject of Simon Says
You handle Simon Says when the serial number contains a vowel (A, E, I, O, U). No vowel → ask BRAVO.
A colored button flashes. Press the corresponding mapped color. The sequence grows by one each round.

On the Subject of Who's on First
You handle Step 1: the defuser reads the display word, you tell them which button position to read. Then they read that label to BRAVO for Step 2.

After the defuser reads the button label at that position, they tell BRAVO for Step 2.
On the Subject of Memory
You handle stages 1, 3, 5. BRAVO handles stages 2 and 4. Both of you must track positions and labels from ALL stages.
Press the correct button each stage. Buttons are positioned left-to-right (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th).
Stage 1
- Display is 1: press the button in the 2nd position.
- Display is 2: press the button in the 2nd position.
- Display is 3: press the button in the 3rd position.
- Display is 4: press the button in the 4th position.
Stage 3
- Display is 1: press the button with the same label you pressed in stage 2.
- Display is 2: press the button with the same label you pressed in stage 1.
- Display is 3: press the button in the 3rd position.
- Display is 4: press the button labeled "4".
Stage 5
- Display is 1: press the button with the same label you pressed in stage 1.
- Display is 2: press the button with the same label you pressed in stage 2.
- Display is 3: press the button with the same label you pressed in stage 4.
- Display is 4: press the button with the same label you pressed in stage 3.
On the Subject of Morse Code
Both you and BRAVO have the Morse alphabet. You have frequency lookups for words starting A-L. Words M-Z → ask BRAVO.
Decode the flashing light using Morse code. Short flash = dot, long flash = dash. Long gap between letters, very long gap = word repeats.

You handle wires where the LED above is OFF. LED is ON → ask BRAVO.
For each wire, check: does it have red coloring? Blue coloring? A star below? Is the LED above lit? Then look up the action.

Count each color's occurrences cumulatively across all panels. Cut the wire if it connects to the listed letter(s).

On the Subject of Mazes
You have mazes 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. If the defuser's green circles don't match any of yours, tell them to ask BRAVO.
Find the maze matching the two green circle markers. Guide the defuser from the white square to the red triangle using arrow keys. Do not cross invisible walls.
On the Subject of Passwords
You have words starting A through P. Words R-W → BRAVO. The defuser cycles letters at each position — call out matches to both experts.
Cycle through letters at each position. Only one password below will match the available letters. Submit when found.
On the Subject of Knobs
You handle Up and Down positions. Left and Right → ask BRAVO. The needy module timer determines when the knob must be set.
Match the 12-LED pattern (2 rows of 6) to find the correct knob position. Positions are relative to the "UP" label.

Needy modules cannot be disarmed but must be tended to regularly.
- Venting Gas: "Vent gas?" → press Y. "Detonate?" → press N.
- Capacitor Discharge: Hold down the lever before the capacitor overloads.
